Chair - Jonathan Jefferies (email Jonathan)

Jonathan Jefferies is a member of East Bay Fencer’s Gym and assistant coach at UCB’s Fencing Club. He has been certified by the USFA Coaches college level II in epee and level I in foil. His preferred weapon is epee and he has twice made the US VET 60 men’s epee team to represent the US at the Veteran World Championships, Krems Austria, and Bath England. He recently took the gold at the US Senior Games held at Stanford in VET 60 men’s epee. His interests include motorcycling, sailing and armory work.

Vice Chair - Sandor Mandoki (email Sandor)

Sandor Mandoki fences for Halberstadt Fencers Club and has been fencing for ten years. Sandor is currently rated in all three weapons, however he prefers to fence epee, in which he has a B rating. He is a nationally rated referee and travels to national tournaments to referee. He also referees at local CA events regularly.
He is also a Moniteur in foil and sabre, and coaches at several clubs, as well as at Galileo high school in San Francisco.

Secretary - Chloe Soroquere (email Chloe)

Previously Vice Chair and now Secretary for five seasons and the mother of Stanford University Varsity fencer, Turner Caldwell, Chloe's goal is to work with the Executive Committee to help improve the frequency and quality of communications with the Northern California Division members.

Treasurer - Edmond Hon (email d)

Edmond Hon, a banker for almost 40 years, started fencing when he thought he was  too old to learn tennis but too young to be on the golf course. Two decades later he is at best recognized as the spoiler from Pannonia but usually as the "Evil Master" in a tournament.
Ed got his MBA from Armstrong College in Berkeley in 1969. He is a director and past president of the Association of Asian American Bankers.
Ed Hon is an Executive Vice President at Far East National Bank in which the USFA Nor Cal Division maintains its deposit since Ed was elected our Treasurer the first time.
