Paul Pesthy Memorial SYC (Mar. 28-29)
Golden Gate Fencing Foundation will be hosting the Paul Pesthy Memorial SYC on March 28-29, 2009 at San Jose Convention Center's Parkside Hall. This year’s SYC is called “Paul Pesthy Memorial Super Youth Circuit” in memory of a great fencer and pentathlete. We expect over 400 youth fencers to take part in Y10, Y12 and Y14 events in all three weapons.

Div I and Senior Team Qualifiers - February 9-10, 2008 Print E-mail

Dates and locations have been set for the Div I and Senior Team Qualifiers. Please mark your calendars. Registration close times are now posted below.

Pre-registration has closed, but information is still available at AskFred.net.

Even though teams have pre-registered, all team members must arrive and check-in prior to the times listed below.

Saturday, February 9, 2008 - First Place Fencing - *note the time changes below
     MS Div I Teams - will not be fenced*
     WS Div I Teams - will not be fenced*
     MS Senior Teams - 3:00pm
     WS Senior Teams - 2:00pm

Sunday, February 10, 2008 - San Francisco Fencers Club - Times TBD
     MF Div I Teams - will not be fenced*
     WF Div I Teams - will not be fenced*
     MF Senior Teams - 10:00am
     WF Senior Teams - 12:00pm

Sunday, February 10, 2008 - Golden Gate Fencing Club - Times TBD
     ME Div I Teams - will not be fenced*
     WE Div I Teams - will not be fenced*

* NOTE: As was decided in the last NorCal Executive Committee Meeting, Div I events with fewer registered clubs than qualifying spots will not be fenced and all registered clubs will qualify one team. All senior team events will be fenced, regardless of the number of teams entered, qualifying one team per club to fill all qualifying spots. Medals will be awarded to 3rd place for Senior Team events.
