- Approval of 2004/2005 Bay Cup Calendar
Division II/III/Veteran Qualifying events scheduled
too early to optimize qualifiers and will be moved to
more advantageous date of Sunday April 24th.
Greg Massialas moves to approve Bay Cup calendar and
Qualifying dates.
Seconded by Peter Burchard. Motion Passed.
- Tomek Amborski moves to require all
clubs hosting USFA sanctioned tournaments forward
their results to Division Officials to conduct rating
changes.
Seconded by Maureen Griffin. Motion Passed.
- Bylaw Changes
Alterations to Article IV Executive Committee Election
and Composition - passed unanimously.
The addition to Article V dictating procedure for
holding a second meeting when a quorum fails to be met
at the first - will be discussed further.
Alteration to Article III regarding the Executive
Committee's authority over entrance fees for Northern
California tournaments - will be discussed further.
- Veteran Women's Tournament Proposal
One event will be held independent of the Bay Cup to
determine interest.
- Promotional material
The Division will consider creating a notification
list, following the model of the Pacific Coast
Section, division members may choose to be included
upon.
- Referee Clinics
Scheduling and improved advertising will be discussed
further.
- Locations for Qualifying events
- Jr. Olympic Qualifiers December 18th and 19th
- Elite Musketeers Fencing Club
- Division II/III/Vet/Div I Team April 24th
- Men's Foil - Halberstadt Fencers Club
