Is Your Membership Profile Up-To-Date?

Over the past three years, the USFA membership database has transitioned through three different systems. During that time, you may have moved, changed clubs, become a permanent resident or changed your e-mail.

With registration approaching for Nationals and membership renewal in a few months, we are asking all our members to log in to their membership profile and verify that the information recorded in their record is current.

In addition, it is suggested that you check the citizenship and representing country fields, be it USA or another country, to ensure that information is correct. If you are a permanent resident, please email your green card number to info@usfencing.org.

Need help with logging into the system? Click here.

Things you will be able to do online:

·         Update your contact information

·         View your membership data & payment activity

·         Print your membership card with classifications included!

·         Create a bio for yourself

Things you will not be able to do - if these fields are out-of-date, please contact the National Office:

·         Edit your classifications (classifications can only be updated if received by the tournament organizers)

·         Change your club, division, country representation or citizen/permanent resident status

Changes to the Junior/Cadet Championships; Team Events
Starting with the 2010-2011 fencing season, the only Junior and Cadet National Championships are the Junior Olympic Fencing Championships in February. In July 2011 the Under 19 and Under 16 events will be incorporated in the NAC framework along with Youth 12, Youth 10, Under 19 Team and Veteran Team events.

Beginning with the 2010-2011 season, all non-championship team events held at the national level will have no club or division affiliation requirements. Any three or four fencers that are age-, gender- and/or classification-eligible for the event may enter a team. [BoD, July 2010]

As a result, there will be No Division Team Qualifier events or U16 Summer National qualifier events!

Change to the Youth rolling points update procedure
Super Youth Circuit (SYC) Tournaments – Best SYC result counts toward point totals on a rolling point basis SYC (Youth Committee – September 24, 2010; youth point standings may be updated by October 10, 2010; points can only be updated once results and program service fee are received by the National Office from the SYC tournament organizer)

Nor Cal Division RYC Point Standing List:

A point standing list has been created for our series of Northern California RYC's. The list doesn't have a national point standing impact, but is a trial list for possibility of official use during the next season. The list, " 2010-2011 Nor Cal RYC Points Standing " is available at:
