Registration fee is $20 for those pre-registering on AskFred.net prior to October 31st, 2008 or $25 at the door. This event is hosted by Golden Gate Fencing Foundation
This competition is a fund-raiser for a relief organization called YeleHaiti (www.yele.org) All proceeds from the competition will be donated to your choice of a project by YeleHaiti, so this is a chance to compete, socialize, and do some social good!
So we all feel that we are involved in the process, we are going to "vote" on which YeleHaitiproject we will support. For each 5 touch bout you win, you'll get a to cast a vote for your favorite project; for each 15 touch bout you win, you get 3 votes! We will have medals and cool prizes from Yele.org for the finalists. And, there will be snacks, beverages, and music upstairs (our featured artist will be Wyclef Jean, the founder of YeleHaiti).
